The Chris Shepard Music with a Mission Fund
In honor of Chris Shepard's first decade with CONCORA, we are proudly instituting the Chris Shepard Music with a Mission Fund to support the choir's socially-conscious programming. CONCORA has garnered a great deal of attention and plaudits for these concerts, which often raise money to support relevant charities. To date, the series has included performances of Considering Matthew Shepard, A Passion for the Planet, and most recently Ed Tyler's An American Requiem, written for CONCORA.
These concerts have been presented with the support of Asylum Hill Congregational Church's Music for Humanity Concerts in the past; by creating this fund, we will be able to reach more of Connecticut and beyond.
