2024 Summer Festival WorkshopsWorkshop #1 - Monday, July 22 5:30-6:20PM
COMPOSERS' FORUM Get a look "behind the curtain," as composers Ellen Gilson Voth and Andrey Stolyarov present two new works. The class will rehearse and sing through these pieces, and will get a chance to peek inside the composers' minds. Workshop #2 - Wednesday, July 24 5:30-6:20PM VOCAL TECHNIQUE Coach Mark Mummert will be taking volunteers through a series of vocal exercises and explaining how to get the most out of your singing voice. There will also be class exercises and plenty of time for questions. Workshop #3 - Friday, July 26 5:30-6:20PM BACH UNLOCKED Maestro Chris Shepard will present a live variation of his Bach Unlocked Podcasts. This class will feature Bach's "St. John Passion," a portion of which will be performed during the Summer Festival. |
About the CONCORA Summer Festival
CONCORA's Summer Festival offers adults, high school and college singers an opportunity to rehearse and perform great choral works - all under the baton of Artistic Director, Chris Shepard. During this week-long intensive, participants will attend educational workshops, prepare and rehearse alongside CONCORA's professional members, and present a culminating concert for the public. If you love to sing and are looking to hone your skills while making and reconnecting with friends, the CONCORA Summer Festival is for you!
