Second Performance Added!

Brahms: Requiem
Saturday, November 4, 2017, 7:30 PM
Saint John's Episcopal Church
628 Main Street, Stamford, CT

"Beautiful, moving, delicate AND powerful"
"Wonderful!"
"Stunning!!"
"Very powerful performance!"

That's what some members of the audience had to say about CONCORA's October 15 performance of one of the most enduring works in the choral repertoire, Brahms’ German Requiem. Did you miss it? You have another chance to hear it on Saturday, November 4, as Chris Shepard leads a repeat performance as part of the 275th anniversary celebrations at Saint John's Episcopal Church in Stamford, where he is the director of music. The program also includes a lesser-known Brahms choral masterwork, Nänie, a poignant, achingly beautiful, but ultimately consoling elegy. No tickets are required; donations will be accepted at the door.
