CONCORA Friends of Bach present ClavierFest!
CONCORA's Friends of Bach present ClavierFest, a benefit concert in support CONCORA’s annual performance of
Bach's work, this year featuring three of his best-known Weimar cantatas on Sunday, March 24, 2019.
This year's ClavierFest will be held on Friday, November 9th, 7:30 pm at St. Mark the Evangelist Church in West Hartford, CT. The concert will feature Bach’s Concerto for Two Violins, BWV 1043, Concerto for Three Harpsichords, BWV 1063, and Cantata No. 51. Additional music includes works by François Couperin, Johann Christian Bach, and G.F. Handel.
Featured performers will be harpsichordists Christa Rakich, Edward Clark, and Stephen Gamboa-Diaz, with special guest artists Wendy Rolfe, traverso flute, Lisa Rautenberg, baroque violin, Emily Hale, baroque violin, Alice Robbins, baroque cello,
and soprano Louise Fauteux.
Tickets will be available at the door: $25 General Admission and $10 for Students.
